The obesity crisis among office workers: the deadly link between excess fat and diseases such as diabetes
III. You can solve your obesity problem even while working.
(I) The remarkably effective "sorrow-relieving method"
Most women who want to lose weight hope to become healthier and more beautiful. Middle-aged men who want to lose weight mostly want to combat adult-onset diseases and chronic illnesses caused by obesity.
This happens frequently. People feel unwell and go to the hospital, but after examination, doctors often say, "There's nothing wrong, just rest more." They might dismiss the doctor's advice with, "It's nothing, just exercise more." This situation, where there's no actual illness but some imbalance in mind and body, is called "semi-healthy."
To address this issue, I spent a long time consulting numerous reports and research materials, and developed a method to improve men's physical and mental health, which I call the "Health and Well-being Method."
"The Health and Wellness Method" is an effective way to treat semi-health and restore health. The new health method is based on "The Health and Wellness Method," and incorporates the essence of many excellent historical health methods.
Initially, this method was tested by a few people, and it proved to be very effective. Most notably, the "Health and Sorrow Method" can control a person's health and minimize "unsettled sorrow" in just five weeks.
(II) Five Reasons for the "Root of All Diseases"
Although not sick, some discomfort persists; this abnormal condition is called "unsettled distress." This common ailment in daily life is caused by neglecting health and stress. According to the theory of health and distress management, five causes can be identified. These causes are all "the source of all diseases" and are also closely related to obesity.
① Excess fat: This includes being overweight, having edema, elderly people who are not overweight but lack muscle, and people who do not exercise much. These people have not exercised their muscles properly and have loose muscles (people with a lot of excess fat are more prone to adult diseases, and therefore have a mortality rate 6 times higher than normal people).
② Impacted feces: Old feces adhering to the intestinal wall are a factor that leads to constipation, dysentery, and colorectal cancer.
③ Blood stasis: refers to stagnant and contaminated blood, which is a factor that causes blood acidity and high blood pressure.
④ Body tilt: Body tilt is a factor in headaches, insomnia, and neuralgia.
⑤ Evil intention: A negative mental state, a kind of neurosis, such as neurasthenia, refusal to go to school, etc.
The five non-fixed causes of complaints identified by the Jianchou Method-excess fat, constipation, blood stasis, physical deformity, and evil thoughts-seriously threaten people's health, and we must eliminate these causes.
(III) Unpopular Fat Type
In the past, when we talked about successful entrepreneurs, we often pictured short, stout, and imposing figures. However, in today's fast-paced society, this type of overweight entrepreneur may no longer be suitable. Look at the business world today! Those who are truly successful, refined, and capable are not overweight.
Why are people with excess fat or obesity unpopular?
Of course, obesity diminishes a person's handsome and dashing appearance, making them less attractive. Furthermore, obese individuals have a significantly higher mortality rate, which makes people inherently less inclined to appoint obese individuals to leadership positions. People often think: "How can you manage such a large organization if you can't even take care of your own health?"
Among men, assuming there are 100 healthy individuals, 150 obese individuals suffer from kidney disease, 160 have cerebral hemorrhage, 190 have chronic nephritis, and the number of those with diabetes is even higher than 380.
In addition, the mortality rate of car accidents unrelated to disease is also quite high, possibly because obese people are slow to move and have difficulty controlling their balance.
Excess fat can accelerate aging and significantly impact blood circulation. Because body fat hinders blood flow, fresh blood cannot reach every part of the body, leading to blood stasis. Blood stasis and excess fat are both important factors contributing to aging.
(iv) Bearing the burden of fat
Specifically, what problems does excess fat cause to the body?
Having excess body fat is like carrying extra weight. If 5 kilograms of fat is involved, it's equivalent to carrying a large can of gasoline. Fat also has blood vessels, and the heart has to pump blood through it. This shows that every extra ounce of fat puts an extra burden on the heart, which explains why obese people become breathless and experience a rapid heartbeat and pulse even with minimal exertion. If fat accumulates in the abdomen, it naturally pushes up the diaphragm, compressing the lungs and hindering breathing.
Obesity also affects the digestive system. In addition to poor blood circulation, excessive food intake leads to excessive stomach acid and bloating in the intestines, causing indigestion. Furthermore, the colon is irritated, making constipation more likely.
Excessive obesity can also cause the feet, which support the body's weight, to become deformed, bent, or even flat.
(v) The heart and liver are also covered by fat.
As mentioned earlier, being overweight and having excessive body fat puts an extra burden on the heart. While a normal person's heart can handle its daily tasks perfectly well, the situation is different for obese individuals. If the heart is covered with too much fat, the heart muscle will also be affected.
If the coronary arteries show a tendency to harden, it means that one is more prone to angina, myocardial embolism, myocardial insufficiency, and other diseases.
Excessive obesity also poses a significant threat to the liver. If fat accumulates on the liver, it can easily shrink and even gradually harden.
Generally speaking, obese people tend to have a preference for carbohydrates and fats, and are often fond of alcohol. They tend to consume very little protein, fiber, and vegetables, resulting in an unbalanced diet and nutritional deficiencies.
Gallstones are also a common disease among obese people, with cholesterol gallstones being the most common type in Europe and America.
Many people have undergone gallstone surgery, but for obese individuals, the procedure is more time-consuming and difficult due to excess subcutaneous fat. Furthermore, their weakened immune systems make them more susceptible to infection, naturally increasing the mortality rate.
(vi) Also related to the terrible diabetes
Obese people should never ignore diabetes.
Currently, diabetes is listed as one of the leading causes of death.
Complications directly caused by diabetes, as well as complications induced by diabetes, such as cancer, stroke, and kidney disease, are all serious conditions that should not be ignored.
Diabetes is caused by a decrease in insulin, which means that sugar is dissolved in urine and excreted from the body. A lack of insulin can lead to weight loss and fatigue.
Most people tend to think that excess calories lead to overeating → obesity → diabetes. However, from a medical perspective, it's not that simple.
However, it is undeniable that treating diabetes is closely related to eliminating excess fat.
According to the Jianchou method, the Wada-style slimming method is the most effective way to eliminate excess fat.
